Digital Marketing Specialist | Oxfam America

Boston, Massachusetts, PURPOSE OF POSITION: Implement digital marketing activities that support Oxfam America’s efforts to change the common understanding in the US of global poverty and its causes, through fundraising and awareness-raising campaigns. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate with Digital Marketing and Engagement Manager and other Digital Specialists to track progress toward goals for the digital fundraising program and implement strategies to support them.
Collaborate with vendors to implement digital marketing campaigns on Pay Per Click marketing platforms including Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ad Words to advance agency’s acquisition and fundraising goals.
Actively maintain Google Ad grant to support monthly fundraising, lead generation, and awareness goals.
Implement and maintain fundraising strategies across all digital channels, such as Classy, Propeller, Facebook, and Instagram.
Support Digital Marketing and Engagement Manager to execute email program and ensure successful deliverability, using HubSpot to provide customized user experiences.
Support Digital Marketing and Engagement Manager in executing humanitarian emergency digital marketing strategy.
Educate staff and serve as internal expert on digital marketing to raise digital marketing literacy across the organization.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices and propose areas for growth in digital marketing.

  Experience and Core Competencies:

1-3 years of digital marketing, fundraising, and/or e-commerce experience with a proven track record of success
Experience with PPC marketing platforms, including Google Ad Words and Facebook Ads Manager
Experience with eCRMs and email marketing platforms, such as HubSpot or Engaging Networks
Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize workload and multi-task
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff
Accuracy and strong attention to detail
Strong oral and written communications skills
